FOUNDING OF THE COMPANY

Mr. Bhim Dev Bhardwaj and Mr. Yagya Dev Bhardwaj founded the company in early 1950s under the name of Anant Chemical Industries, The focus being on the manufacturing of Synthetic Food Colors preparation and flavors.

EMERGENCE OF ARUN CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES

In 1973 Mr. Bhim Dev Bhardwaj established Arun Chemical Industries. He was a dynamic man who firmly believed that only hard work, dedication and fair business practices can be fruitful in the long run. Under his guidance and leadership the company focused on manufacturing, supplying and exporting a variety of Primary Food Colors and essence..... like sunset yellow, tartrazine, carmoisine, vanilla essence etc.

PASSING OF THE BATON

In 1983 the second-generation management of Sun Dye Chem was established and was rechristened as Sun Food Tech in 2002 by Mr. Arun Dev Bhardwaj.

Apart from Sun Food Tech, the company has grown into various enterprises such as Arun Color Chem Pvt Ltd, Namyoho Products, and Arun Color Chem and has plants in Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and head office in New Delhi and branch in Mumbai.

EXPANSION

Our commodious infrastructure is developed to carry out business endeavors in the most efficient manner. The stress on quality is not just a mission statement but it is translated into practice by acquiring the best technical skills, well equipped laboratory and an up to mark plant suitable for producing world class edible colors. All our products are sternly tested for quality. Our highly advanced machines and equipment have enabled us to cater to the growing demands of our products in domestic as well as international markets and offer custom-made products as per the specific needs and requirements of the customers. Incidentally, we were the first company to introduce PET jars in India for medium size packing of food colors.

OUR FUTURE

Today more than half a century later the company has a variety of products ranging from Primary colors, blended food colors, lake colors to caramel, baking powder, natural essence and flavors like rose, vanilla, Beetroot, lemon, strawberry. We are exploring new international avenues and seek to spread our wings to the Americas and Australia, as a major focus area for quantum growth. The company aspires to achieve 50% growth per year and we shall - by having a large satisfied customer base who are assured of high quality products and timely deliveries.

Currently, our products are exported to South Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.

With over 30 years of experience in the field of colors and essence, he continues to guide the company in the direction of growth and innovation.

Arun Dev Bhardwaj is a maverick leader and focuses on the basic idea of an organization devoted to superior quality products. Like Michael LeBoeuf he too believes that a satisfied customer is the best business strategy of all. He constantly invests in plants and machines that produce the finest quality of products. He reckons that if the customer is happy, success in business would eventually but inevitably follow.

Under his guidance the company was awarded the Bharti healthcare award for best channel partner and best suppliers for good quality and in time delivery of products. The company also received the ISO-9001-2008: international certification for good quality products and ISI marks: bureau of Indian standards for maintaining products as per their parameters standards.
